Ok, so my last post was intense and not at all what most people are waiting for…animal pictures and cool stories. The cool stories are coming, I promise. I mean…I rescued an old Italian Postman’s helmet (and the old postman himself!) today while chillaxing in my tiny house, on a cliff, in the Almalfi Coast in Italy. Anyway, lots of stories on the way! But, to satisfy the masses of a shamefully small number of followers… here’s a few of my favorite pictures
Even the Leopards are sleepy after a big meal. She spent 3 days eating a Bushbuck that she’d dragged up a tree. We stopped in to see her every day.
This photo was taken from a hot air balloon over the Serengeti at sunrise. Just saying that makes me pause… really? Did I really do that? Lemme just pinch myself real quick to be sure…
We had a troop of more than 10 Baboons that liked to play on the porch of our Chalet in Zambia. I called in the “baboon chanel’ and we watched every episode!
This woman works in a recycling center in a Massai village. She is one of the many wonderful and beautiful people I met in Tanzania and Zambia.
These young people set up old tires on the beach every night in Zanzibar. They used the tires as a springboard for acrobatics. We enjoyed sundowner drinks each evening and let the sunset and the show compete for “coolest thing to watch”.
These are just a few of my favorite pictures, I hope you enjoyed them 🙂 there’s more on the way! Please be sure to like/comment and subscribe.
These are wonderful, thank you!!
Thank you 🙂
Gives hope that the animals will persevere. What an amazing experience you are having.
It has truly been the experience of a lifetime! Far beyond anything I dared to hope for. For anyone considering a trip to Africa – Go!! I will be posting links for all the resources, tour companies, and lodges from the trip in case it’s helpful. Thank you for reading and commenting 🙂
